Lash Lift and Tint
What is a Lash Lift?
A lash lift treatment lifts the lashes from the roots, and creates a fuller, longer appearance of eyelashes. Combined with the tint, the lashes appear to have more volume, length and definition.
During a lash lift, your lashes are adhered to a silicone mould and then the perming/fixing solution is applied. After this, the tint (if required) is applied. Everything is removed with a nourishing solution to ensure your lashes stay soft and beautiful!
Is a Lash Lift right for me?
Lash lifts are a low maintenance beauty treatment, with instant and long lasting results. Whether your lashes are long or short, a lash lift will open up your eyes and define your lashes. Patch tests are required beforehand, so if you have any worries or concerns regarding allergies, please discuss with your beauty therapist before the treatment.
There are some medical issues that will prevent you from having this treatment. Please speak to your beauty therapist who will provide you with a list.
How long does a Lash Lift last?
A good lash lift will last for anywhere between 6 and 8 weeks. However I have had a few clients who’s lash lifts are still going strong over 3 months later!
It firstly depends on the health of your natural lashes before the treatment, and of course how skilled your beauty therapist is. But it also massively depends on how YOU look after your lash lift! As I said before, it’s a very low maintenance treatment, however there is still some TLC required to maintain the results. This includes listening to your therapist’s aftercare advice regarding keeping your lashes dry for the first 24 hours and brushing them daily, amongst other things. Your beauty therapist should provide you with fully detailed aftercare advice on how to look after your new, beautiful lashes.
Brow Wax and Tint
What is a Brow Wax and Tint?
An eyebrow wax simply means removing unwanted hair from the brow area using wax. The wax is placed onto the skin and removed using a waxing strip. The tint colour is then mixed to the desired shade and applied to the hairs and skin, darkening the brow hairs for a fuller look. Patch tests required for the tint.
Is a Brow Wax and Tint right for me?
Of course! Brows are big business right now, and most of us of a certain age (me included) went through the “90’s brow” stage…. where we all plucked our eyebrows to within and inch (or millimetres) of their lives!! By stepping away from the DIY tweezers, you would be allowing your beauty therapist to shape your eyebrows professionally, ensuring the mistakes of the 90’s are left in the past!
As with most beauty treatments, some medical issues may prevent you from having a wax or tints. Please speak to your beauty therapist if you have any concerns.
How long do the results last?
All depends on your rate of hair growth, but most clients tend to come back for their brows around the 4 to 6 week mark. The tint lasts on the skin anywhere between a few days to a week, and it lasts on the hairs up to 6 weeks. You can maintain the tint results for longer by following your beauty therapist’s aftercare advice.
